Meet Boss

My sweet nephew Boss was born September 2nd and his birthday was such a sweet gift from God. The day before he was born my family was in Iowa celebrating the wonderful life of my Grandma Kenyon.  She had a deep love for Jesus and her family.  And she left quite a legacy of 7 children, 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren with 2 more on their way. My sis, Jenni (Boss' Mommy), was actually born on my grandma's birthday.....so what a sweet, tender reminder that we received.... The Lord gives and the Lord takes away BUT blessed is the name of the Lord. Job 1:21
We know that our sweet, spunky Grandma Kenyon is rejoicing with our Savior in heaven and for that we find so much comfort and strength.
Jenni called us shortly after the funeral and told us that she was pretty certain that Boss was on his way....so we packed up, hugged all of our family and traveled 15 hours across 4 states in 2 SUV's filled with 7 adults and 7 kids. Our wonderful husbands and daddy drove through the night and we finally arrived at 6am (1 hour after he was born).

We were sad to not get to be there every step of the way....but Adam was giving us lots of updates and Jenni went 100% natural with this delivery....what a rockstar!! I know you get to see lots of my family on my blog but they are pretty much the greatest and I feel so blessed to have each one of these ladies in my life as my best friends! So Boss, welcome to our family....you are already LOVED more than you can ever imagine!
